IBPS Common Interview Preparation Tips : Common Interview for IBPS : Analysis

IBPS Common Interview: As you all know that IBPS will now conduct a common interview for recruitment of Clerk & PO in its participating banks. IBPS has announced in its clerk notification that any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Public Sector Banks and who qualify in CWE Clerk-II, will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be co-coordinated by IBPS.

Candidates, successful in qualifying in both the CWE and Common Interview will be listed in the order of merit.

What will be the impact on Candidates? Now the candidates will not need to prepare again and again for the interview as there is going to be only one interview for all banks. However at the same time this one interview now becomes very crucial for the candidates as there are not going to be many opportunities for appearing in interviews for the same post. Hence it becomes all the more important for the candidates to prepare very well and well in advance for this most crucial interview.

How the system will work? Depending on the vacancies in each bank of his preference, candidate will receive through a computerized system an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks of the IBPS. Vacancies remaining unfilled on account of candidates declining offer, will be filled from among the remaining candidates, through subsequent iterations. After the declaration of result of both CWE and common interview, a notification will be issued by IBPS giving the state/UT wise and category-wise vacancies for each Bank and order of preference for Banks will be obtained from successful candidates. Based on the marks obtained in CWE and common interview as well as the indication of order of preference of Banks and available vacancies, a successful candidate will receive a call from an individual Bank.

What should be the right strategy? Right strategy is to prepare very well and well in advance for the common interview as it is going to be very important for all of you. You can visit the following links for better preparation of your bank exams interviews.
