General Awareness Section of Bank Exams: General Awareness section of IBPS Bank Exams mainly consists of Current Affairs Questions, Banking Awareness Questions and a few questions on conventional General Knowledge.
Current Affairs: Current Affairs consists of about 55-60% questions of General Awareness Section. Normally Current Affairs of Last Six Months are being asked in this section.
Banking Awareness Questions: Banking Awareness Questions consist of about 35-40% of General Awareness Section of Bank Exams. Mostly questions are related to current banking development, important terminology and conventional banking awareness questions.
Conventional General Knowledge: There are a very few questions on conventional General Knowledge which are normally straight forward and can be answered with a little preparation.
What is a good score? Any score above 65% is a very good score in this section. But going by the personal experience, a well prepared student can easily score about 80-90 % of the questions.
