Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) going to conduct Common Written Exam (CWE), for the recruitment of Officers and Assistants, in Regional Rural Banks. DETAILED SYLLABUS FOR REASONING SECTION
The Reasoning Section will have weightage of 50 marks in which 40 questions will be asked. There is no fixed syllabus for Officer and Assistant Exam. However, based on the analysis of previous year’s papers, we have observed that the questions are mainly asked from the following topics:
· Number Series
· Letter and Symbol Series
· Logical problems
· Alphabet test
· Blood Relations
· Input output
· Number Ranking
· Direction Sense test
· Making Judgments
· Statement and arguments
· Venn diagrams
· Passage and Conclusions etc.
· Analogy/Making series
· Series test
· Old figures
Reasoning Section is normally considered a difficult section but the fact is that it not that difficult a section and at the same time high score can be achieved in it by preparing topic wise. If we prepare each and every topic mentioned above by understanding the concepts we can score very high marks. We often make the mistake of not being regular in our studies and taken it for granted. Therefore give it at least 3-4 hours daily and prepare each topic which will not only help you in the IBPS RRB CWE but in upcoming IBPS Exams also.
If you know the concepts then 2 hours is enough for practice but if you are still at the learning stage you need to devote 3-4 hours daily on this section, until you master it.
