IBPS CWE RRB PO Exam Morning Session Analysis and Expected Cut Off Score - 06.09.2015

IBPS CWE RRB PO EXAM ANALYSIS MORNING SHIFT 6th SEPTEMBER 2015: In this article we are going to provide you a detailed analysis of exam conducted by IBPS for Officer Scale recruitment in RRBs on 06.09.2015. Earlier we have provided you detailed analysis of Morning Session and Evening Session of 05.09.2015.

There were 200 questions in the paper, which had to be answered in 2 hours. There were five sections in all – Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English/Hindi Language, General Awareness, Computer awareness. There was negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 marks for wrong attempt. The section wise analysis will be as follows for the benefit of our visitors


The section saw primarily easy to moderate and for a good attempt candidate should have attempted 25-27 questions. Some of the topics in which were asked are as follows:

Syllogism – 5 questions
Data sufficiency – 5 questions
Inequality – 5 questions
Puzzles – 10 questions
Statement and assumptions - 5 questions
Blood relations, Coding- decoding & Miscellaneous – 10 questions

QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE:

The level of quantitative aptitude was quite difficult and for a good attempt candidate should have attempted 18-20 questions. Questions which were asked in the exam are as follows:

Data interpretation – 15 questions
Number series – 5 questions
Quadratic equations – 5 questions
Profit & loss, CI, SI & Miscellaneous – 15 questions

ENGLISH/HINDI LANGUAGE:

The level of English/Hindi language was Moderate and for a good attempt candidate should be attempted 25-30 questions. Below are some of the questions asked in the exam:

Comprehension – 15 questions
Cloze test – 10 questions
Fill in the blanks – 5 questions
Para jumble – 5 questions
Spotting error – 5 questions


The maximum number of questions from this section was from Current affairs and General Knowledge as well as Banking questions. This section was of Moderate level and candidate should attempt 28-30 questions for a good attempt. Some of the questions asked in the exam are Peru Capital, IRDA Headquarter, Mithali raj, Maharashtra CM etc.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:

This section comprises very easy questions based on basic knowledge of Computers. The main areas from which questions were asked – Input, Output, Internet, Software, MS Office, Memory, Abbreviations, Network etc. Candidate can easily attempt 30-32 questions for a good attempt.

Overall the exam has MODERATE level of difficulty. But, if a candidate attempt 126-136 with 85 to 90% accuracy, then there will be good chance for them to clear this exam.
