While IBPS is Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and is responsible for the recruitment in all the public sector banks except SBI, the exam for the SBI PO is being conducted by the CRPD department of State Bank of India i.e. Central Recruitment and Promotion Department of SBI.
As far as Bank PO Eligibility norms for the IBPS are concerned. The age limit is minimum 20 years and the upper age limit is 30 years, relaxation for the reserved categories will be as per the norms. As far as educational qualification is concerned, graduation is any discipline is good enough and there is no percentage bar for Bank PO through IBPS.
Regarding Bank PO Eligibility norms for the SBI PO, eligibility norms are much similar to that of IBPS and the minimum age here is 21 years and the upper age limit is 30 years, relaxation for the reserved categories will be as per the norms. As far as educational qualification is concerned, graduation is any discipline is good enough and there is no percentage bar for Bank PO through SBI also.
