IBPS PO PRELIMS EXAM ANALYSIS – SLOT 4 (3rd OCTOBER’2015)
Finally the last slot of the exam has been over and candidates will be eagerly waiting to know the overall exam analysis of the last slot of the day.
In this article we are providing you the overall analysis of the 4th slot of IBPS PO prelims by comparing with the previous 3 slots. In comparison to the previous 3 slots the level of the exam was same but accuracy and planning was needed to do well in the exam.
The section saw primarily easy to moderate and for a good attempt candidate should have attempted 20-22 questions. Some of the topics in which were asked were as follows:
Syllogism – 5 questions - Easy
Inequality – 5 questions – Easy
Coding – Decoding - 5 questions – Easy
Seating Arrangement (Circular) – 5 questions - Moderate
Puzzles – 10 questions – Moderate
Blood relations, Coding- decoding & Miscellaneous – 5 questions
The level of quantitative aptitude was quite moderate to Difficult and for a good attempt candidate should have attempted 13-15 questions. Questions which were asked in the exam are as follows:
Data interpretation – 10 questions
Number series – 5 questions
Quadratic equations – 5 questions
Approximation – 5 questions
Profit & loss, CI, SI & Miscellaneous – 10 questions
The level of English language was Moderate and for a good attempt candidate should have attempted 16-18 questions. Below are some of the questions asked in the exam:
English Comprehension – 10 questions
Cloze test (Problems in school) – 5 questions
Fill in the blanks – 5 questions
Para jumble – 5 questions
Spotting error – 5 questions
Overall the exam has MODERATE level of difficulty. But, if a candidate attempt 50-55 then there will be good chance for them to clear this exam.
Based on this analysis expected category wise cut off will be:
47-53: General Candidates
40-45: OBC candidates
35-38: SC candidates
32-36: ST candidates
